My Scar is my healing...
I have this scar on my foot. It's something self afflicted and could have been avoided.
I use to absolutely abore this sign of imperfection... This... this layer of skin that has lost it's pigmentation. It drew negative attention in my opinion.
Eczema; this chronic skin disorder is what caused it and my lack of discipline is what made it evolve into what it has become.
Man oh man... I would scratch my feet profusely each night after practice until they'd bleed.
Dermatologist couldn't diagnose but could only help with the urge to scratch this surface. Now I have to live with feet that arent bad but that lack consistent tone due to the lack of pigmentation.
Then God spoke to me and said: be proud of your scar because your scar represents more than just a tarnished image. It is a wound that's been heeled. It is an imperfection that will constantly remind you that you are flawed... And by not being ashamed of a SCAR from a period that reflects a stint within YOUR process... You begin to experience true love for SELF.
Remember this life is not all about you...
Sometimes SCARS can show others that healing and happiness can occur and that...
