Damn what an honor it was to not just simply STAND!!! by your side during this special day...
But to make a comittment to help you stick it out and help you carry the flashlight to always help you find your way....
I think I was already two years in once you decided to take the plunge... I was so excited!
It wasnt because you werent the "commitment kind" or a "dog that finally found his leash" but because you were and always have been a great man and that you actually recognized that beside every Great Man is a Great Woman!
In reflecting back I remember your wife telling me in undergraduate that she'd NEVER marry "one of these boys here at Lincoln" and she Never did! She found one of the best Lincoln Men out there and as I write this I'm trying desperately to hold back this tear.
The TWO of you have brought TWO little girls in the world that will always be apart of ME. The TWO of you now have a beautiful life and a beautiful home and a beautiful family and beautiful friends (if I may say so myself :) but the TWO of you couldn't have done it... and will not be able to continue to do so if it weren't for the ONE of him. GOD.
God gave me a little sister named SHARI when she was too young to realize that she'd one day MARRY my best friend CHUCK who relized from the gate that this union was more than just LUCK... and that he had found who God had brought him and that it was now time to began to apply all that his Godfearing parents had taught him...
You see this is a NEVER ending story! I am still reading the chapters in your book and just wanted to thank you for allowing me to be apart... its always a good look.
Simply because your my MAN... I'm your MAN... I will always be around to hold you down becuase I was and will forever be YOUR ONE & ONLY BEST MAN...
